Shipping of the package and invoice will take place within two working days of the order being placed. Payment, in GB pounds, must be within 30 days of despatch and can be by cheque (payable to PRIMER-E Ltd), bank transfer or credit card (Visa and Mastercard only). If requested, we can e-mail you a proforma (‘advance’) invoice; this also contains the details for bank transfers.
PRIMER v6 non-USA prices
Prices are set in GB pounds (£) and payment can be made in pounds only, by cheque, bank transfer or credit card.
Note that the price structure for government labs and for multiple orders has changed from v5 purchases.

Multiple order discounts:
All licences (excluding teaching licences) are single-user and, for support purposes, linked to a named person. Orders for multiple single-user licences attract a sliding scale discount, provided they are received at one time, for simultaneous despatch to the same address, and covered by a single invoice. For every additional single-user licence on the invoice, after the first, subtract an extra 5% from the total licence cost, up to a maximum discount of 40%. (Note that teaching licences and extra manual copies are excluded from this calculation – since they have their own volume discount mechanism – as are any carriage costs. Sales tax, if any, applies to the final total, as usual.)

1 The price includes a CD of the software, and two hard-copy manuals
(Methods, 2nd edn and v6 User/Tutorial, a comprehensive new v6 manual explaining the
additional methods in v6 as well as all operational features). It excludes postage and
packing; please e-mail us for delivery times and quotes for airmail or courier costs. It
also excludes VAT, charged at 20% for all UK customers. EU customers will be charged VAT
unless they provide a VAT registration number; no UK tax is payable for sales outside the
EU.
2 End-user licence agreement: the software is registered to a specified user
via a unique code. It is licensed for only one desktop PC at his/her place of work (there
is no network or general site licence) but it may also be installed on the user’s
laptop or home PC, if this is not used concurrently with the desktop. Ownership stays with
the purchasing organisation when the user leaves
3 University staff using PRIMER for contract work with government departments
require a public sector licence, and for commercial contracts require a private sector
licence. The quoted price applies to licences bought for research students as well as
staff; ask about discretionary discounts for research students genuinely buying a licence
from personal funds (which makes them the owner).
4 Teaching licences are for desktops in teaching labs, used for taught
undergraduate/masters courses, not for installation by a doctoral student on a research
machine allocated for their exclusive use. To qualify for a new or upgrade teaching
licence there must also be a registered owner of a single user v6 licence in that
department (the teacher). He/she is responsible for retaining the single teaching CD
securely in their possession, and installing it on up to 10 teaching machines. For the
lower price indicated (e.g. £440), a single copy of both Methods and User manuals will be
sent; the higher price (e.g. £800) includes 10 copies of each manual (intermediate
options are possible, see manual prices). Extra sets of 10-seat licences come with their
own CD and single copy of each manual.
